Texture makes me feel some things! The visual queues I receive when I see how an object will feel when I touch it sets a mood in a space. When we design or stage a room we not only take into consideration the lines and design elements the client wants to infuse - but also the texture of the finishes and objects in the room. To me, they are one in the same. Equally important. Texture provides history, emotion, and will elevate a well-thought creative space.
"Don't touch that" can not exist in our interior selections. We have to feel it, literally.
